Pakistani fast bowling legend Shoaib Akhtar holds the record for the all-time fastest delivery in international cricket. He recorded a speed of 161,3 mph (over 100 mph) against England in the 2003 Cricket World Cup.




Shoaib Akhtaroften known as the Rawalpindi Express, delivered the fastest ball in cricketing history in an ODI match against England at the 2003 Cricket World Cup in Cape Town, South Africa at a speed of 161,3 km/h (100,2 mph).

Nick Knight, a former England fly-half, was the target of Akhtar's second over of the game, and the bowler tormented the left-hander hitting speeds of 153,3 mph, 158,4 mph, 158,5 km/h, 157,4 km/h, 159,5 km/h and 161,3 km/h in its first run.

Officially, Shaun Tait is the second cricketer to go over 100mph against England at Lord's in an ODI match in 2010.
In his first game, the former Australian fast bowler bowled England fly-half Craig Kieswetter at a speed of 161,1 mph (100,1 km/h). Tait was Australia's master wrecker, taking four key wickets which were instrumental in the visitors' 42 run win.
2005 Australia v New Zealand, Brett Lee, 160,8 km/h (99,9 mph):
In international cricket, Brett Lee was the second bowler to approach the 100 mph mark. In the fifth ODI at Napier in 2005, the former Australian pacer played at 160,8 km/h (99,9 mph), which was his fastest delivery.

Umran Malik, a pacer for Jammu and Kashmir, is India's fastest bowler and has incredible bowling speed. As the young bowler represented Hyderabad against Delhi in the 20 Indian T2022 League, he recorded a delivery speed of 157 km/h.
